Save Ann's Home!
March For Housing Rights

Stop Home Foreclosures

When: Monday, January 16, 10am
Where: Meet on the corner of 8th Street and 7th Avenue East
Contact: Joel Kilgour, 218-724-2054

"To cure injustices, you must expose them before the light of human conscience and the bar of public opinion." -MLK, Jr.

Ann is a hardworking homeowner in the East Hillside. A few years ago, she suffered a terrible on-the-job injury and fell behind on house payments. She's working again, but her bank would rather take her home away than make a simple adjustment to her mortgage.

Ann is one of hundreds of people in the Twin Ports who are in danger of losing their homes to foreclosure this year.

Project Save Our Homes invites you to start the MLK march early by gathering outside of Ann's home to send a message to State Farm Bank that the Duluth community is paying attention to how they treat our neighbor. Then we'll make our way to the Washington Center behind the "Housing is a Human Right" banner in time for the larger march.
