The MLK Holiday Community Breakfast has been happening in Duluth since 2002. Funded by the General Mills Community Foundation, with support from the St. Paul Area Council of Churches, these breakfasts are intended to bring the community together to honor Dr. King's life and to work towards fulfilling his vision. At each breakfast, attendees have the opportunity to view a telecast of the celebrations and speaker in Minneapolis; take part in a local program; eat a free, hot breakfast; and build community connections. For more information on the breakfast events in the Twin Cities, visit www.mlkbreakfast.org.
